Reading for just 20 minutes a day can expose students to nearly two million words a year and significantly boost academic success! We have partnered up, once again, with our local bookstore, Kew and Willow Books of Kew Gardens to help us host the Halsey Book Fair.

December 2nd – December 4th
During the school day. All students will have designated time to visit the fair with their ELA class. If they would like more time, there will be passes available during lunch periods.
✨ Family Afternoon Session:
Tuesday, December 2nd | 2:30–4:00 PM
Families are invited to visit the fair Tuesday afternoon from 2:30-4:00PM. Kew and Willow accepts cash or charge from families only. All interested families must sign up using the link below.

📖 What You’ll Find
Our collection has been carefully curated to reflect the diversity of our student body and to include books that feature a wide range of topics, characters, and authors. Check out our digital catalog to browse a selection of titles and items ahead of time. https://kewandwillow.com/catalog/halsey-middle-school-book-fair
This catalog is only a small snapshot of titles that will be there - there will be much more at the fair. Books are organized by age and grade level, making it easy to plan ahead of time. Also, Kew and Willow was not able to display the selection of stationery in the catalog, but students can expect a wide selection of stationery from the brand IF USA: https://www.ifusa.com/
Details regarding purchases:
- Students must bring cash to make purchases at the fair.
- Kew and Willow will accept cash OR card only from parents, guardians, and caregivers.
- Online purchases through our catalog (see above) purchased from 12/2-12/5 also count towards our sales! If you place an order online, be sure to mention that you’re a Halsey family in the order notes.
In addition to books, the fair will include:
- Engaging activity books
- Beautiful stationery
- Fun bookish items like pens, notebooks, and more!
