Our Mission

Stephen A. Halsey JHS 157’s administration, faculty, and staff, in collaboration with parents and community members, are dedicated to creating an inclusive pathway to equity and excellence. We are committed to meeting the social-emotional and academic needs of every student while fostering a culture that celebrates diversity, embraces technology, emphasizes the arts, and cultivates leadership. By valuing and embracing the full range of our students’ identities, including their cultural backgrounds, lived experiences, interests, abilities, and perspectives, we will promote respect, inclusivity, and global citizenship.
